My Four Favorite Writing Utensils for Teaching

1. Flair pens

I LOVE flair pens, they’re my favorite for writing under the document camera and they come in so many different colors so I can do each step a different color or highlight certain things or color code vocab!

2. Bic gel-ocity pens

These are great for grading and taking notes during meetings! They write so smoothly and show up great under the doc cam too! (except that pesky lime green!) Plus – even though they’re “gel pens” they don’t smear!

3. Sharpie S-Gel Pens

Admittedly- my husband and coworkers love these more than me, but I see the appeal! They write smoothly and don’t smear but the reason I don’t like them as much is because they don’t come in fun colors like flair pens or the gel-ocity pens do, but they are nice for official documents or note-taking during meetings!

4. Sharpie Flip Chart Markers

These are the markers that I use to write on the giant easel pads (pick #4). They come in a bunch of fun colors and they don’t bleed through the paper like regular sharpies would.
