Looking for a new teacher bag for this back to school time? I got you! I went through Amazon and found some awesome bags that had great reviews and won’t totally break the bank! Plus some of them can be used as other things like a night out purse, beach bag or diaper bag- so it’s a win win for functionality! Check them out below:
1. Laptop tote bag
I bought this bag last summer as my new teacher bag and I love it. I can fit my laptop, binder of answer keys and agenda/planner in there with room to spare for my iPad if needed! I also love that it has space on the outside for water bottles and zipper pockets on the outside for my pens/pencils to bring back and forth for when I like to pretend I’m going to do grading at home. #iykyk
2. Tote with usb charger
Love this one for the 8 different color combos- so you can get whatever color goes best with your teacher wardrobe to make you feel stylish! Plus it has a USB charging port that you can charge your phone and keep it safe from prying student hands and have it still be in your bag while charging!
3. Pursetti zip top tote
I have this and use it mostly as a diaper/going out with kids bag because I LOVE the exterior pockets that I can stick crayons, pencils and water bottles in for easy access. But my laptop would easily fit in here and I also love the fact that it is zippered on top because I can zipper away valuable items so nobody can easily reach into my bag and help themselves to things!

I picked this backpack because it’s 1. super cute 2. comes in a million colors/patterns (okay it’s really only 15) and 3. has a USB charging port! So if you’re looking more for a backpack style than a tote or over the shoulder bag – this one is for you!
5. Teacher tote bag
If you’re looking for a “teacher” bag than this is for you! It’s got a water bottle pocket on the side, cute rope handles and on the back it’s got more exterior pockets for putting pens/pencils or your charger! It’s also got a separate sleeve pocket on the inside to pad your laptop and keep it safe while you’re on the go!
6. Vera bradley tote
When I first started teaching, I used my Vera Bradley tote for everythinggggg! I had to retire it after one of my kids spilled sticky juice on it and I was so sad! This Vera Bradley has tons of pockets on the inside (they go all around the inside) and in the picture it looks sparkly! What could be better?!
7. Rolling bag
If you’re looking for something on wheels so you don’t have to worry about breaking your back- then this bag is for you! It’s got two zip interior pockets, so you can have one pocket for your laptop and the other for all the papers you’re taking home to “grade” tonight. There’s also zippered exterior pockets to hold chargers, pens, pencils and those random spare binder clips I always seem to end up with in my pockets! And this one can double as a carry on if you go for a trip! Two bags for one? Basically saving money!!
8. LEather tote bag
This one is one of the better deals personally- and I may end up buying it myself LOL. The reviews look amazing (4.6 stars and 3500+ reviews when I looked at it!) and it’s super stylish looking! Many of the reviews say even with heavy use, it hardly shows any wear and is really great quality. It comes in navy, black, brown and even a pretty forest green color! Can double as a purse for the evening too if you’re going out AND it’s waterproof!
9. Leather backpack
Here’s another option for the backpack lovers – and this one is leather too! Comes in a bunch of different color combinations and is super roomy on the inside! Can fit a laptop and has over 6,000 ratings giving it 4.7 stars overall! Has a zippered exterior pocket for pens, pencils and your trusty calculator plus pockets for your water bottles as well.
10. Scout bag
I LOVE the Scout bag – I have one for our pool/beach bag but I love all the exterior pockets and the material. Plus the logo is a super cute wiener dog! There are tons of patterns and different sizes of the scout bag so you can definitely find one that fits your needs and personality.
